Stamp for CCD contributions
The CCD initiative benefits from any visibility. Its justification lies in making principles and practices that already existed before more clearly and widely visible. The more often the CCD "brand" is mentioned, the stronger it becomes and the more developers it motivates.
One tool for more visibility is the Bracelet. However, not everyone likes to wear CCDler. That is of course completely ok. That's why, together with the dotnetpro developed another "trademark": a stamp.
Here are the two versions:
Anyone who likes can "print" these stamps on their contributions that deal with CCD topics. Wherever there is CCD in it, there should be one of the stamps on it. Here is an example from dotnetpro 8/2009:
The more frequently the stamp is seen, the more visibility and coherence the CCD message gains. The recognition value is high.
But, as I said, this stamp is not about marking a general commitment to CCD, but about specific contributions that deal with CCD values or components or are deliberately designed to be "CCD-compliant".
The stamps can be viewed in higher resolution here and here can be downloaded.
The banner for the CCD commitment
Anyone who wants to "out" themselves as a CCDler - e.g. in their blog - or wants to label their company as "CCD-friendly", as some have already doneshould also use the stamp.
